Introducing...

Little League Jamboree was held Saturday morning at 8:30.  The boys were excited, especially Joe.  We all woke up extra early and suited up with our Pirate attire!  We met some friends/teammate at Dairy Queen for breakfast!

Once we arrived at the ballpark, the boys and Jason met up with their team and got ready for the 4, 5, 6 year old teams announcements.  Pirates.....The announcer then began announcing all the players' names.  So special!! :)

After the announcing of all the teams, we then waited until our time to play in the jamboree.  Our first game was at 1:00 and the second game at 3.  Unfortunately, it was a gloomy/rainy day and the second game was cancelled.  I was so proud of our little team though.  They did SO well in the first game.  (They only played one inning though! HA!)

Silas- 1st base

I love my boys.

Drink on...

Jason brought home a Japanese drink from work.  The boys could not wait to try it.
It was the strangest thing. There was a marble "stuck" near the top of the bottle to help limit the amount of liquid you take in.... interesting.

Play Ball

Ball season has officially begun, and I could not be happier.  I love that my boys are playing baseball!  A couple Saturdays ago, we played our first scrimmage. Needless to say, practice time is going to be very important!  We have such a sweet little team.  I love all those little fellas to death.  Precious!

The boys went to a birthday party for their friend and teammate, Bryson.  After the party, it was off to the ball park!

What a great dad....and coach! :)

This could almost be one of the sweetest parts of the game.....the "Good Game Handshake".
Precious babies.

Mystery.

It's a mystery.  I went to take the pictures off my camera, and I do believe someone had gotten a hold of it.

Interesting.

There were only 4 pictures taken.

Wonder who it was...

I suppose they took pictures of themselves AND their most prized possessions??

crash

Walked in the living room the other night to find this:

Falling asleep ANYWHERE is no big thing for Jonas.  Silas, on the other hand, very surprising.  They must have been exhausted.

Definitely not abnormal for Joe though...  When he gets tired, and IF he gets still, give him 5 minutes and he will be out cold.

I could post TONS of random sleeping places....I will spare you.

Just one though... :)

.Spring.Training.

So it's here.

Both of my boys are now old enough to play Little League.

No more playing with his cars underneath the bleachers while his brother is on the field.

Jonas is officially a Pirate.

Bring it on...

It's a girl.....

Boys.

Story of my life.

I am surrounded by boys.

BUT....

I did get to decorate with sugar and spice and all things nice... or however that little rhyme about girls goes...

I could so do pink and frilly and girly and bows and satin and tulle...

Jason's 1st cousin and his wife are expecting a baby girl in April.
I was thrilled to be able to host a small, family shower for them.
Precious family.
Congratulations!

Key lime cupcakes with Blackberry frosting....  Yummy in my tummy!
(The frosting was a bit thinner than I had hoped for... oh, well...)

Baby H...  Sweet Hadley...

I normally cannot stand a mess in the kitchen.  I alawys "cook as I go".
However, the night before the shower was definitely an exception.
I had been in Lebanon all day for work. We drove back to Lexington in the middle of a dang tornado. We saw two wrecks and sat in traffic for a bit.
A teacher I work with recently had a baby, so Ms. Taylor and I gathered up some food to take to her.  I delivered that around 7 p.m. Friday night...
I then called Kota to come over and keep me company while I got started on the shower.  She made some yummy little chocolate pretty things... :)
Thanks, Ko!
AND...I did get a close up of the "Cinnamon Chips"....
Cut up and soak tortillas in butter.  Then sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.... bake.  Scrumptious...
(We had those with some fruit salsa.)

Same...Same...Same...

I haven't updated the blog in a while, but trust me... everything is still the same.

Nothing major has happened...
Nothing major going on...
Same...Same...Same...

Here is a video from a week or so ago... Just a typical night... :)
