::be::quiet::

Maybe we should be quiet more often. Maybe we should spend more time listening.....

(( it's pop's b-day }}

Church day! The boys were actually really good at church today! Joe got a little restless toward the end...overall... not bad.

After church we came home, napped, and then got ready to go the lake. Monday is Jason's father's birthday. We celebrated today at the lake. We had a really good time. The boys loved the boat, fishing, hammock, golf cart, food, etc.... Maybe they'll sleep well tonight! ;)

I thought I'd go to Parsons on Saturday. I haven't been over there in quite a while!! We drove by on the way to Bath Springs for Easter, but didn't stop. The boys and I stopped by my sister's florist and my mother's pre-school. The boys had a great time playing in the "workshop" (the florist) and outside on the playground. It was great seeing Kelly and my mom. That slaw dog from the Dairy Bar wasn't so bad either!! It definitely hit the spot. I heart the DB......

((tea party))

Friday night we went to the "tea party" in Jackson. Ok...I'll be honest...I know very little about politics. My husbad was interested in going and I thought it might be pretty neat. The weather was absolutely beautiful! Doing something outside was a definite must. We loaded the boys and took off. It was held at Liberty Garden. There was probably around a thousand or so people there. It was fun. I enojyed watching everyone and listening to Mike Slater. (I really just wanted to go and take pictures. Don't tell Jason.) ;)

This is a picture of people gathering donated items for care packagaes. All of the packages are being sent to the soldiers fighting. By the end of the night, there were tons of packages! How awesome!

The "Don't Spread My Wealth Sign..." was probably my favorite. Not that I have any wealth to spread, but I do believe every able body should work. ;)

The boys had a great time. They were SO good!

I am an AWFUL person for posting this next picture. I don't know who this beautiful couple is...but...

Bluetooth just may be the next pocket protector.

Bless them....

Afterwards, we went to Burger King for...you guessed it...Frozen Coke! I wonder who had to go with Silas on the playground? I only had to go once. He decided to be brave and go it alone after that! That was the first time we have played in Burger King. I can't help but think about all of the germs. Get over it... I know. Anyways...check out the table. It has a jelly bean surface! Too Cute!!

{{ ExPrEsSiVe }}

My sis and I always have the best time! I was wanting to snap pictures and guess who was willing? Kota! She came over and we headed to the farm. So maybe our Friday evening didn't consist of a lot, but we still had too much fun. Plus, we have some pictures. Not bad. In the meantime, while Kota was doing her thing, I was in cow "poop" before I even knew it. Literally. Figures!! ;) In all things, be expressive!! Love you Kota!

How flattering is that?! ;)

Happy Easter!

Be Zealous! It's Easter. Zap somebody with some Christian love today. My Lord arose.

What an eventful Easter morning! Silas and Jonas both enjoyed their Easter presents very much. Lets talk about this rockin' guitar my baby got! How cool is that. Joe was pretty excited about his car too! Silas has been wanting a new guitar for quite a while now. I have been wanting to buy him one ever since his last one got broken. I'm not all about spoiling my kids. I actually want them to want for things. Sure...I could have bought him a new guitar three months ago, but I love the anticipation of wanting and waiting for something! Seeing his face when he saw his guitar was awesome. I know that I don't have all the answers, but I really don't want my children to automatically have everything they want. ANYWAY.... here are some pics from this morning! (Yes, I know. I am a bit OCD with the pictures. I really can't help it.)

After church, we always go to Bath Springs for Easter. Two words...Po Dunk. I love it though. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. So okay, maybe I don't exactly know who everyone is, or which child belongs to which adults, but its my kin folk all the same. This is where my MeMaw (Daddy's mother) is from. I guess I really do know most of the people there, but...there are a few that I'm not so sure of. It really makes Memaw happy for us to come...so I'm always there. I only see this side of the family once a year. They always meet for Christmas and Easter. The times they meet for Christmas conflicts with Jason's family. So I usually always try to make it a point to show up for Easter!

The day was absolutely beautiful. I took lots and lots of pictures!

This is my sister's children, Lee and Jaycie, with Silas and Jonas.

The next two pictures are hilarious!!! Do you know how difficult it is have a decent picture of everyone?!

Silas really thinks that Joe is riding on his shoulders without assistance. They are so cool.

This is my sister's beautiful family!

This is a picture of my cousin, Lindsey, Memaw, and me. Lindsey and I are only one year apart. We basically grew up together! She and I lived at our Memaw's house on the weekends! We have SO many memories! Love you both!!

I love the sweetness of the next two pictures! I wish I could just bottle it up and take it out whenever it is needed.

Let the hunt begin!

This is Kelly, our dear ole dad, and me. Jason (my bro) and Kota weren't able to show up! :( All I know is they totally missed out on some egg huntin'. I'm just sayin...
